The Kurukuru are yet to score a goal in two games, after a 6-0 defeat by Morocco in their opening match.
Portugal top the Group C standing with two wins, while African champions Morocco are second after being held to a 1-1 draw by Thailand.
Solomon Islands need to beat Thailand on Monday to have any hope of reaching the Round of 16 as one of the four best third place finishers among the six groups.
