Auckland City has won through to the final of football's O-League with a fiery 3-1 win over the defending champions Waitakere United at Henderson.
City will play the home-and-away final against Koloale FC from the Solomon Islands, starting in Honiara on April 25 with the return leg in Auckland on May 2 or 3.
They broke a two-year jinx against Waitakere with a 2-1 win in the New Zealand Football Championship last Sunday.
Matt Friel, Keryn Jordan and Adam McGeorge scored for Auckland in a match was marred by an all-in melee, sparked by City's Greg Uhlmann lashing out at Roy Krishna.
Uhlmann was sent off, then Waitakere's Neil Emblen was red-carded for striking an opponent.
