Doug Bracewell will replace the injured Andrew Ellis in the New Zealand cricket squad for the ICC Champions Trophy in the UK next month.
Ellis pulled out of the squad with a rib injury.
The ICC has confirmed that the Event Technical Committee has approved the replacement.
