Waitangi Tribunal deputy chairperson Judge Stephanie Milroy has stepped away from the role for health reasons.
Judge Milroy has had the role for almost four years. She's being praised for making sure the tribunal has run smoothly and efficiently.
A long-serving tribunal member, Judge Patrick Savage, has been named has her replacement.
