Polynesian Airlines has been granted another cabotage waiver by the US Department of Transportation to continue flights to American Samoa's Manu'a Islands into the holiday season.

The Samoa carrier has been operating flights to Manua since late last year via 30-day cabotage waivers from DOT.

A senior department official says taking into account the current record including that no US carrier conducts any intra-American Samoa operations, the department is granting Polynesian's request to continue intra-American Samoa services.

The latest waiver is from November 26th through Christmas Day, December 25th, or until five days after a US carrier initiates intra-American Samoa passenger operations, whichever occurs first.
