A collective of health and social service providers in Rotorua has secured a contract to deliver Whanau Ora services.

The welfare policy helps struggling families turn their lives around, using a variety of government agency services.

The Te Arawa Whanau Ora Collective is made up of nine Rotorua-based health and social service providers including Korowai Health Services and Aroha Mai Cancer Support. It officially starts delivering its services from Monday.

Project manager Ngaroma Grant says part of its role is to help families create a plan which recognises their strengths.
