Next week Auckland will host the first Ethnic Xchange Symposium. The event organisers want to increase the already significant 64 billion dollars ethnic communities contributed to New Zealand's GDP, as measured in 2021.
The idea is to share ideas, find opportunities and unlock new pathways for businesses with several High Commissioners and big players like Google and KPMG all going along.
Susie spoke to Mervin Singham, Chief Executive of the Ministry for Ethnic Communities.
