Good week for NZ tennis

New Zealand tennis players have completed a good week of tournaments with victories in three different events around the world.

The women's number two 18-year-old Sacha Jones beat the former world top-10 ranked Australian Alicia Molik in three sets at the the Mt Gambier Challenger in South Australia.

The win, her second in a row over Molik, could take Jones inside the top -250 rankings.

The men's number two Rubin Statham beat his Czech foubles partner Roman Jebavy to win the singles title in Bangkok and they teamed ui to win the doubles.

And at Pune, India the New Zealand number one , Dan King-Turner, won the singles title .
