The police are appealing for information after a dairy in Tauranga was robbed at gunpoint last night.
The masked man entered the Mātua Dairy on Levers Road in Mātua at 7.20pm.
They say he presented a pistol at the shop attendant and left with a small amount of cash, before turning down Rānui Street.
The police believe the offender has spent time in the area before the robbery and they would like to speak to anyone who was nearby at the time, and saw anyone suspicious.
They would also like to speak to anyone who may have seen a white Honda Stream stationwagon in the area at the same time.
