Back home now and if there's a particular type of food you're craving, chances are you'll find it on Auckland's Elliot Street. But it's status as Tamaki Makarau's culinary star isn't new. Elliott Street has been a place of gathering food for nearly five centuries according to archealogists. And for Matariki this year, visitors fill their puku as well as feast their eyes thanks to a quirky new attraction. Taurima is series of floating neon installations and is the work of artists Lissy and Rudi Robinson-Cole. Our reporter Leonard Powell spoke to the creative duo.
