Nobody was injured in the incidents, but several homes were damaged.

The first four shootings took place between around 6.40pm and 7.40pm tonight across the suburbs of Ōtara, Papatoetoe, Flat Bush and Papakura.

The fifth shooting, which took place in Te Atatū, was reported to police around 9.20pm.
