The Queensland Reds winger Rod Davies is expected to miss the next four weeks of the Super 14 rugby season after he suffered a suspected fractured cheekbone during his side's 27-18 home loss to the Blues.
Fullback Peter Hynes is also in doubt after he dislocated a finger early in the match.
The Reds have lost two of their first three matches, despite playing them all at home, and have just a six-day turnaround before travelling to Hamilton for this weekend's clash with the Waikato Chiefs.
