The Tongan Government has rejected a second request from a Native American-owned casino company to establish a gaming system on its islands.
On Monday, an American news agency published a release from Red Warrior Entertainment, claiming Tonga's Cabinet had formalised an agreement more than two weeks ago.

However, Radio Tonga reports the government rejected the request for a gaming system, as it would be illegal and would require an amendment to Tonga's legislation.
The Minister of Revenue and Customs, Tevita Lavemaau, told Radio Tonga the government had only approved a development proposal, which will see hotels constructed in Tongatapu and Vava'u.
