A nursing lecturer is hoping to break down stigma surrounding mental health for Samoans through a new podcast 'Fau Gagana'

Presented in Gagana Samoa or the Samoan language, the podcast is mainly aimed at Samoan migrants in New Zealand exploring how mental health is interpreted from a Samoan viewpoint, based on cultural practices and values and how to manage mental wellbeing.

Dr Ioana Mulipola spoke with Pacific Waves host Susana Suisuiki.
