There have been two surprise selections in the New Zealand limited overs cricket squads for the upcoming 20/20 and one day clashes with Bangladesh.
The Central Districts batsman Peter Ingram has been selected in both the 20/20 and one day squads and Wellington bowler Andrew McKay has been picked for the one day squad.
Selector Mark Greatbach says the teams have been selected with an eye to the 20/20 World Cup in the West Indies in May, and for next year's One day World Cup in Asia.
He says Ingram has been picked after scoring a lot of runs across all forms of the game and McKay was selected after the left armer impressed for Wellington with good pace.
Shane Bond, Grant Elliot, Kyle Mills and Jesse Ryder were not considered because of injury.
The following players have been selected to contest the T20 and ODI matches against Bangladesh in February 2010.
