A developer says the Government has little chance of finding 100,000 first-home buyers to buy its Kiwibuild properties. Slightly more than 10,000 Kiwibuild homes are contracted to be built by 2028 - just 10 percent of the Government's 100,000. In January, the Government ditched its yearly targets but is still aiming for 100,000 builds by 2028. The managing director of Williams corporation, Matthew Horncastle, told Alex Ashton that even if it does reach that, it will have a hard time selling the homes.
