An Auckland voting booth ran out of enrolment forms late yesterday afternoon, the Electoral Commission has confirmed.

The Commission said people at the advance voting place in Mt Albert were told there were more forms at the nearest other advanced voting place.

They could also download an enrolment form online and email it back.

As long as the form arrived before midnight yesterday, they would be able to vote today.

More voters have already made their choice in this year's election than any other year, with almost a million advance votes cast by Thursday.
