A van which was stolen with a baby still inside has been found in West Auckland.
The vehicle, with a two-month-old baby on the back seat, was stolen outside Blue 2 Laundromat in Te Atatū South just before 1pm on Monday.
Police said the Eagle helicopter helped find the vehicle just over a kilometre away on Meadow Crescent, with the baby still inside.
They said the baby was quickly reunited with their parents before a hospital check-up.
Police have not yet made any arrests.
