There is concern in French Polynesia over a new Covid-19 cluster emanating from a restaurant event in Papeete.
A call was issued on social media for the more than 100 people, including rugby players, who were there on the night of 31 July to get tested.
The public broadcaster said so far 11 people tested positive, which prompted the rugby federation to suspend all activities for two weeks.
The broadcaster said two policemen also tested positive.
There has been no official statement about the latest cases.
At the end of last week, French Polynesia had tallied seven Covid-19 cases, which all surfaced after quarantine requirements for international arrivals were lifted last month.
The first traveller to test positive in the second wave was a US tourist on a cruise ship.
In the first wave French Polynesia had 62 Covid-19 cases, none of whom were fatal.
