A new National Party MP, Paul Foster-Bell, was sworn in to Parliament on Tuesday.

The former diplomat replaces list MP Jackie Blue, who resigned to become the new Equal Employment Opportunities Commissioner.
Mr Foster-Bell says he is honoured to get the opportunity to be a Member of Parliament and looks forward to contributing in whatever roles come his way.
He stepped down as the Deputy Head of Mission at the New Zealand embassy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to become an MP.
