A jury has been selected at the Wellington High Court for the murder trial of those accused of killing Rau Tongia.
Five women are facing murder charges in relation to the death of the Karori man.
Tongia was killed on Percy Dyett Drive in the early hours of 20 December 2020, and was reported to have been shot.
The trial is set down for eight weeks.
Seven people in total have faced charges - with man and a woman accused of hiding a firearm having already been sentenced.
