Car hits pedestrian at Great South Road intersection in Ōtāhuhu

A pedestrian is injured after being hit by a car in Ōtāhuhu.

The crash occurred at the intersection of Māngere and Great South roads about 7.05am on Tuesday.

A St John ambulance spokesperson said the pedestrian was taken to hospital in a serious condition.

Police advised motorists travelling through the busy area to expect delays.
