Papua New Guinea is being urged to move toward a digital economy.
That's the call from Mark Pesce, the keynote speaker at this week's PNG Investment Conference in Sydney.
The Post Courier called Mr Pesce a leading futurist, entrepreneur and innovator who had been at the forefront of the digital revolution for 35 years.
He told the audience that digital money is coming and is already in Singapore.
He said within 20 years all goods will be traded digitally and autonomous drones could be flying them across PNG.
