Advice on what to do if a crowded place is attacked has been released by the police.

Protecting Our Crowded Places from Attack: New Zealand's Strategy offers guidance for venues, event organisers and the public about the best ways to stay safe if a large crowd of people is attacked, said Assistant Commissioner Sandra Venables.
"If you're at a crowded place that's attacked, remember these three words: escape, hide, tell," she said.
"That means moving quickly and quietly away from danger, staying out of sight, silencing your phone and - when it is safe to do so - calling Police on 111."
New Zealand's terrorism alert has remained at medium since last year's mosque attacks, meaning an incident is assessed as being feasible and something that could well occur.
The new advice asks people to watch out for suspicious behaviour and report this to the SIS or police.
The strategy aims to help venues assess the vulnerability of their site to attack and to develop appropriate security measures.
