There are no new community cases of Covid-19 today and just one new case reported in managed isolation facilities.
In a statement today, the Health Ministry reported the new case arrived from the Netherlands on 3 August.
There are 30 active cases in New Zealand, with none in the community.
Yesterday there were two new cases of Covid-19 in MIQ and two historical cases identified at the border.
Yesterday 45,802 doses of the Pfizer vaccine were administered, a record total. Of those, 32,230 were first doses.
More than 2 million doses of the Covid-19 vaccine have now been administered up to midnight yesterday. Of those, 1,258,000 are first doses and more than 780,000 are second doses, according to the Ministry.
The Maritime Union is calling for health authorities to offer one-on-one consultations for port union workers who are unsure about vaccination.
That came after Covid-19 Minister Chris Hipkins blamed a 'wave of misinformation' for keeping 44 percent of port workers from getting their first dose of Pfizer.
