A 29-year-old man was scheduled to appear in the Dunedin District Court today charged with aggravated robbery.

The robbery was reported to the police just before 11pm on Friday.

Two people entered Crofter's Pub, one armed with a firearm, and demanded the money from the till.

The 29-year-old is also jointly charged with another man in relation to an earlier aggravated robbery in the suburb of Caversham.

Police are still working to determine whether anyone else was involved in the robbery at the Mosgiel bar.
