Two people have been taken to Christchurch Hospital in a serious condition after a three-car crash on the north-bound Waimakariri Bridge.
The incident happened about 4.30pm on Wednesday, blocking one lane for about 30 minutes.
Police said the lane has been cleared and emergency services have left the scene.
