The Blues and Manu Samoa prop James Lay has signed a two year deal with Super Rugby Pacific side Moana Pasifika.
The loosehead prop departs from the Blues where he made his debut in 2020.
With 18 test appearances, the Samoa born Lay who hails from the villages of Sasina and Safotu has also played at two Rugby World Cups.
Lay, 29, made his way onto the rugby scene through Auckland's NPC side in 2016.
With stints in Bay of Plenty as well as with the Bristol Bears, Lay has a wealth of experience but missed the 2023 Super Rugby season through injury but played for Auckland in NPC.
