The full-strength Hurricanes have put themselves in pole position for home advantage right through the playoffs, by taking down a brave, but ultimately below-par Highlanders side, who continued their dismal record against the men from the Capital.
This game had no bearing for them, and it really showed. The Canes were too good, adding a couple more tries in a scrappy second period.
