The police are appealing for sightings of a car in Central Otago that is believed to have become submerged in the Clutha River.

The car is described as a royal blue Subaru station wagon and was travelling on the Tamblyn Road in the Roxburgh area recently.
The police believe the car left the road and became submerged earlier this week.
The vehicle has not been located yet.
Anyone who saw the car go into the river or spotted it in the area recently is encouraged to contact the police.
