Hohua died in hospital early on 19 June from injuries sustained the previous evening.

The 43-year-old man is due to appear in Tauranga District Court tomorrow charged with murder.

This follows the previous arrests of three men aged 25, 32 and 34.

They have all made initial court appearances and are remanded in custody.

Detective Senior Sergeant Paul Wilson said the investigation team had worked tirelessly to piece together the evidence and are not ruling out that further charges may be filed.

Police have appealed for anyone who has information about how Hohua sustained his injuries to come forward to Police by calling 105 and quoting file 220618/2962.
