Live session: Marlon Williams

08:08 am on 5 May 2015

Marlon Williams first came to the attention of local music fans as the lead singer of Lyttelton country band The Unfaithful Ways around 2008, and he’s been the honey-voiced young buck alongside Delaney Davidson’s gravel-worn stallion for three albums of country songs.

Now living in Melbourne, the 24-year-old has just released his self-titled solo debut, a diverse showcase of different styles, from country ballads, to lush 60s pop.

While in Auckland, Marlon joined us in the Radio New Zealand studios to perform 'Everyone's Got Something To Say', and had a quick chat to Music 101's Kirsten Johnstone about his early influences and his favourite album of all time.
