The National Party has announced its new whips and a newly created position of third whip.

The junior whip will be Hamilton West MP Tim Macindoe and Botany MP Jami-Lee Ross has been appointed as third whip.

Last year the Remuneration Authority announced that political parties with more than 45 MPs would be allowed funding for a third whip.
