Police say a person is in custody after reports of making threats at a Work and Income office in Pukekohe in Auckland.
As a precaution Work and Income on Queen Street in Papakura, Tobin Street in Pukekohe and Queen Street in Waiuku were placed into lockdown.
A man was located in the wider Pukekohe area and taken into custody and officers also found a replica firearm.
Police said the man was assisting officers with their enquiries.
