Lorde leads most of the morning newspapers on Tuesday after her double Grammy wins in Los Angeles.

'Lorde Almighty' is the headline in The New Zealand Herald which features a photo of Ella Yelich- O'Connnor, 17, holding the two trophies she won at the Grammy awards yesterday in Los Angeles. The paper says she was 'stoked' about her wins for best pop solo performance and song of the year.
Waikato Times
The Waikato Times says the Waikato River may have to supply more water to Auckland as the city's population grows. The paper says a leaked resource consent application suggests the city will outgrow its water supply within the next 35 years, and may want to draw more water than it already does from the Waikato River.
And the paper says Deepika Kumar, 18, who died on Sunday night after being found at the bottom of a Hamilton motel pool, has been described by friends as 'vibrant' and 'full of promise'.
Dominion Post
'Our Sweet Lorde' is the headline in The Dominion Post, which features a large picture of Lorde holding the two Grammy trophies she won. There are also pictures of Lorde with her parents, with producer Joel Little and with Beyonce.
In other news: MP's will now have their attendance at Parliament recorded. The paper says there will be a roll call to show how many MP's turn up for debates, select committees and other parliamentary business.

The Press leads with a photograph of Lorde performing at the Grammy awards ceremony beneath the headline 'Lorde's divine double'.
In other news: the paper says Labour has started to splash the cash to its core low and middle income heartland. The promise of a $60 a week payment for each newborn child was made by David Cunliffe in Auckland on Monday.

The Otago Daily Times says an Invercargill man rushed to help after a huge fireball engulfed a man outside the shop where he worked on Monday afternoon. A gas bottle containing acetylene, which is used for welding , exploded on the back of a truck causing a loud bang heard throughout the city.
The paper also features pictures of double Grammy award winner Lorde. It says the singer and her entourage were on the guest list for all the hot post-Grammy parties - but Lorde, 17, was sticking to sparkling water as she cannot legally drink in the United States.
