Police have recovered the body of 36 year old Nicholas Brett Eklund from the Grey River after a fishing boat capsized Tuesday morning.
The Lady Anna was returning to port about 7:30am when it overturned in high winds and rough seas with three men on board.
Police said two men, aged 27 and 42, had held onto a flotation device and made it to shore, while the third man's body had been recovered from the sea.
The two survivors had been taken to Grey Base Hospital, one with hypothermia.
The Lady Anne was now fully submerged.
Police said there had been many drownings on the Greymouth bar and it could be very dangerous in high swells.
