Four divers have been rescued by the Coastguard, after they lost their boat in choppy seas off Kapiti Island, north of Wellington.
Police say the four swam to Brown's Island nearby after their boat capsized. They were wearing life jackets and wetsuits.
They are believed to be unharmed.
