Bob Dylan tribute with Delaney Davidson, Tiny Ruins and friends

For Bob Dylan's 73rd birthday Auckland's Wine Cellar hosted a live tribute show featuring New Zealand musicians Reb Fountain, The Bads, Tiny Ruins, Adam McGrath, Delaney Davidson. RNZ was there to capture the magic.

As he turns 73 and readies his 36th studio album Shadows in the Night in May 2014, rock'n'roll's poet laureate Bob Dylan continues to influence modern songwriters the world over.

The Gunslingers Ball collective hosted a Dylan tribute show at Auckland venue the Wine Cellar on 4 April 2014.

RNZ was there to capture the performances, which included:

  • 'Political World' by Adam McGrath
  • 'Don't Think Twice It's Alright' by Reb Fountain
  • 'Forever Young' by The Bads
  • 'I Dreamed I Saw Saint Augustine' by Tiny Ruins
  • 'This Wheel's On Fire' by Delaney Davidson
