Heavy rain has eased in parts of Fiji, but concerns remain about flooding in some low-lying areas as the effects of a slow-moving tropical depression continue to be felt.

About 600 people have taken shelter at the more than 50 evacuation centres opened for people in flood-prone areas, Fiji's National Disaster Management Office said.
A tropical depression - called TD04F - caused heavy rain that led to flooding in Fiji, prompting a warning for the entire country.
Much of Fiji was still recovering from Cyclone Winston which struck in February, causing widespread destruction. Many people were still living in tents.
People in the town of Rakiraki - in the north of the main island of Viti Levu - were told to head to safe ground yesterday or find an evacuation centre because of rising flood waters.

The town remained closed today.
The National Disaster Management Office said there have been no reports of deaths or injuries.
