Police are concerned about a hitchhiker who's been missing since Friday.
Farmworker Joshua Falwasser of Morrinsville went to Tauranga last week for a party and sent a text message to his brother on Friday saying he was hitch-hiking back to Morrinsville that day.
Sergeant Mark Toomey said he was expected back at the farm where he works, to milk the cows on Saturday morning, but no one has heard from him since.
He said the disappearance was out of character.
