Police in Auckland say they have charged a man with the murder of a toddler.
James Lawrence, aged 2, died at his home in the suburb of Orakei on 14 November.
The child had suffered blunt force trauma to his stomach which severely damaged his internal organs.
Police say a 29-year-old man who used to live in Orakei will appear in court on Wednesday.
