A Hutt Valley gang member is on the run after removing his electronic monitoring bracelet.
Police say Teariki Leo John Malloy, 26, breached his home detention by cutting off the anklet.
Malloy is described as a Mongrel Mob member with tattoos on his neck, forearms, left hand, legs and chest.
He has access to firearms and police urge people to not approach him but report any sightings.
