Two ACC deputy chief executives are under investigation and have been stood down from their jobs.

In a statement, chief executive Megan Main said Rēnata Blair, who is the deputy Māori chief executive, isn't currently working.

She said John Bennett, who is the system commissioning & performance deputy chief executive, is stepping down, effective immediately.

Main would not answer any of RNZ's questions about the investigations saying they are employment related matters and she cannot comment.

Stuff is reporting there have been allegations against Bennett of physical contact with co-workers.

It said there have been allegations about Blair's behaviour at a work function on Waiheke Island and at Te Matatini.
