The RNZ studio was jammed packed with a live performance from Che Fu singing classic tunes, backed by five horn players and a DJ.

Together they are Big Horns, and they are bringing 90s RnB and hip hop anthems to Auckland’s Powerstation on October 12th.

The show will feature new arrangements of hits by Tupac, Mary J Blige, Blackstreet, Beyonce, Warren G and more, fronted by some legendary artists on vocals - Boh Runga, Ria Hall, Kings and Che Fu.

On the night, the band will double in size, creating a huge sound for the dance floor. Special thanks to the artists who performed live for RNZ to give us a taste:

Vocals - Che Fu
DJ - Elton (DJ Sizzorhands)
Tenor Sax - Thabani Gapara
Tenor Sax - Loxmyn Ness
Tuba - Alex Jeantou
Trombone- Tom Chester
Sousaphone - Tavite Tonga
Dixon Nacey - Guitar
