A man wanted by police after they were shot at last Friday has been found and taken into custody.

Police alleged that the man was the same person who discharged a firearm towards officers while being pursued on foot on 19 March.
They found him at an address in Hamilton East this afternoon and will be appearing in Hamilton District Court tomorrow on various charges.
