A 37-year-old man accused of ramming a police car on the Coromandel Peninsula last week has reappeared in court facing new charges.
Pierre Anglem first appeared in court last Thursday facing five charges including aggravated assault and unlawfully taking a car.
He was in the Hamilton District Court again today and faces an extra ten charges include threatening to kill and reckless driving.
Police said Mr Anglem drove into a patrol car near Tairua. The lone officer fired shots into Mr Anglem's car's rear windscreen before taking cover.
Anglem has been remanded in custody.
