Police in Otago are looking for a group of men who accidentally shot two women while duck shooting from a boat on the Clutha River yesterday.
The women sustained minor shotgun pellet injuries after the incident yesterday morning.
One woman's lower leg was injured, while the other sustained an injury to her shoulder.
Police said the pair were walking along a track by the Clutha River when they were struck.
The duck shooters spoke to the women once they realised what happened and offered help, but then left the scene in their boat.
Police were notified of the incident when the women arrived at the Alexandra Medical Centre to be treated.
Police asked for the men to get in touch, or for anyone with information about the incident to call 105 quoting P046364839.
