Fog disrupts dozens of Auckland flights

Fog restrictions at Auckland Airport have now been lifted.

Fog restrictions were imposed at 2.45am and have been lifted but then imposed again several times.

Hundreds of passengers had been grounded by heavy fog since early this morning.

At least 84 domestic flights were either delayed or cancelled.

One international flight was diverted to Wellington.

Earlier, passengers were being advised to check Auckland Airport's website for the latest information.
