Two more shootings have been reported in Auckland overnight.
Police said they were told of shots being fired in Manukau, on Albert St, just before 8pm last night.
Just 10 minutes later, officers responded to reports of more gunfire on Boundary Rd in Ōpaheke.
Police said there had been no reports of any serious injuries.
Auckland community leader, Manukau ward councillor Alf Filipaina, said parents are fearing for their children amid the spike in gun violence.
Filipaina said recent gang-related incidents have put parents on high alert.
"The talk is that some of the parents are teaching kids how to lie down ... how shocking is that," he said.
Police are currently launching a major crackdown on gang violence this month and Alf Filipaina is encouraging people to cooperate with officers.
