Weather authorities say a low system still poses a risk to Fiji despite being downgraded from a cyclone this morning.
Cyclone Bina has lost strength and is now a Tropical Depression which is expected to be over Vanua Levu this evening.
Despite the weakening system, the Fiji Met Service's Sakeasi Waibuta, said it would still drop rain on areas already flooded by the weekend's Cyclone Ana.
Most parts of remain to be inundated as of now," he said on Monday.
"The flood waters are receeding, but the rain hasn't stopped, especially over Vanua Levu. Occasionally rain elsewhere, most parts of Fiji.
"Tropical Cyclone Ana is still over the southern waters, it's still bringing all this rain across."
No strangers to severe storms, Fijians expressed surprise at the intensity of Cyclone Ana, as reported by RNZ Checkpoint.
Waibuta said his office was also keeping an eye on Cyclone Lucas which is heading into the Pacific Ocean from the Coral Sea.
